Lunch is great...dinner, not so much. My husband loves the fish and chips and I am a burger fan! My complaints are that the waitress' never know what the specials are and they have to read like robots down the list. Take a minute and know your business. In addition, the waitress are always eating...it kind of grosses me out. When we were there last week and were seated, there was potato's on our seats, probably wiped off the table and onto the seats. Yuck. I don't just eat out for food, but for a nice experience. Definitely lacking the experience here.

There is something so wonderful about a big patio where you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Floridian evenings. I grew up down here, but have since moved to the Northeast. You Floridians don't realize how good you have it--we clamor to eat outside the 3 months of the year when it's warm enough! That being said--the patio sitting is quite nice. The menu is definitely American--salads, steaks, the ocassional seafood item. I had the Cobb salad (who doesn't love a salad covered in bacon and avocado?!), and it was nice. The bread basket was warm and varied (I always love when you get something aside from sliced sourdough). And most importantly, the service was sincere and excellent. My friend wasn't sure if she wanted the New England or Manhattan clam chowder, and our sweet waitress gave her sample bowls of each (Manhattan ftw!).

West End Grill is one of my preferred go-to-places for weekday lunch in St. Lucie West. I love grabbing a table on their outdoor patio on a sunny day. The service has been pretty good every time I've been there - no complaints on that front. They serve "American" fare ranging from lighter items like salads/wraps to diner-style sandwiches. (I personally dig their greasy selections - like the grilled veggie sandwich!) They offer steak fries as a side - that's a bonus in my book. Their large menu can which can be a tell-tale sign of reduced quality. Not the case here as far as I can tell. This place also seems to be a favorite of the St Lucie West professionals/"suits." The cost is on par with the other American-food area chains (like Ruby Tuesday and Chilis), but the quality seems to be far more consistent. I haven't visited during dinner as it gets a bit more pricy then, but I imagine the food is still decent. West End Grill is in the plaza located just beyond the Lake Charles development on the right side of St. Lucie West Boulevard (if heading East from I-95). Parking can be a pain with their tiny lot, but it's worth the hassle.

Cute place right off the main road, which i can't seem to remember right now, but it's next to Wine & Barley. They have outdoor seating and indoor and both about the same size. The staff are pretty nice and they are pretty quick. We had the stuffed mushrooms, which were definitely different but very tasty. They were stuffed with a cranberry reduction with i think it was feta cheese. We also had the escargot.....really good. gotta remember to ask about specials cause when they are out of it, that's it. I had the ribs...decent but remember, they aren't smoked. The BBQ sauce was good.....sweet and tangy. I would definitely come back if i am in the area again.

Really enjoyed this place Nice and cozy atmosphere. We were seated w/o a wait, altough the place was getting busier as the night wore on- lots of outdoor seating as well. Lots of choices on the menu. Enjoyed the specials, as there were quite a few, including, which the hubby and dad really enjoyed. I had mahi mahi, blackened. Seasoned well, but a little bit salty for my taste. Otherwise nice smoky flavor. Hubby had the ribs- really enjoyed the sauce. Pork chops and the ribeye for the folks, and none of us needed a doggy bag. For an area that doesn't have may restaurants aside from sports bars and fast food, this place was a nice welcome surprise!

We had the early bird special and really enjoyed it. I suggest making reservations because the inside is small. Outdoor seating is also a good option. There is live music several times a week. The service and food were very good. We will be back.

Ok so it was my mother's birthday and we chose this restaurant to celebrate her big 60! The appetizers were GREAT!! The best calamari ever. The portions were big. The main course however was not as flavorful. I was a bit disappointed in the main course. It could have used a little more flavor. The service was GREAT and I loved the pace of the food. It was a party of 6 people and the bill was not too bad. I would go again if I visit Port St. Lucie again but only have appetizers and drinks.

Great place for lunch. Excellent service coupled with great food. Everything on the menu is consistently delicious. From the tomato gorgonzola soup, the wraps, salads and specials, there is something for all tastes. Inside seating can be crowded and a little noisy during season but outside seating cures that. A variety of good food with excellent service at a reasonable price equals a great lunch hour.

Slowest lunch service I've experienced in years. There were more employees than customers and it still took over an hour to get a cup of soup, a wedge salad, a corned beef sandwich, and an egg salad sandwich. The egg salad sandwich was 80% lettuce and tomato, which is absurd enough without an $7.00 price tag. The employee's conversation at the bar was almost unbearable as well. As a customer I don't care to hear flirty banter and complaining. I sincerely regret not just going to Panera.
